Soil: Decomposed granite ("berrocal") at 600–1,200 m on the south face of the Gredos massif — poor, sandy, fast-draining soils.
Style: Pale, perfumed, high-altitude Garnacha — red-fruited, floral and savoury, with fine tannins and real freshness; closer to Burgundy than to warm-climate Grenache.
