Victorian gardens and the palest, purest Speyside style
Glen Grant was shaped by 'The Major', James Grant — Victorian adventurer, gardener and the first man in the Highlands to own a car — whose tall stills and purifiers created a famously pale, clean, orchard-fresh malt. Italy fell in love with it (for decades the best-selling Scotch there), and its woodland Victorian garden remains one of Speyside's loveliest visits. Elegance through lightness, a century before that was fashionable.
Pale, precise and orchard-fresh — green apple and hazelnut.
