The Balvenie

Next door to sister distillery Glenfiddich, The Balvenie keeps alive more traditional crafts than any other Speyside house: it grows some of its own barley, turns malt on a working floor, and employs its own coppersmiths and cooperage. The whisky matches the workshop feel — honeyed, malty and rounded, famous for the DoubleWood's sherry-finish warmth and for pioneering cask finishing under legendary malt master David Stewart.
