Auchentoshan

On the outskirts of Glasgow, Auchentoshan was long the only Scottish distillery to triple-distil every drop (the revived Rosebank joined it in 2023) — a Lowland tradition that lifts its spirit to delicate, grassy heights. The nickname 'the breakfast whisky' fits: citrus, green apple and cream, light enough for morning light. Its stills survived the Clydebank Blitz of 1941; its style survives as the clearest living link to the old Lowland way of making malt.
