The most traditional distillery in Scotland, bar none
Springbank does everything the hard way and is worshipped for it: 100% of its barley malted on its own floors, direct-fired stills, no chill filtration, no colouring, every bottle filled on site — the only Scottish distillery with the complete chain. Family-owned since 1828, it makes three distinct whiskies (Springbank, unpeated Hazelburn, heavily peated Longrow) whose oily, briny, faintly smoky character defines Campbeltown. Allocation is scarce; devotion is not.
Oily, briny, lightly smoky — Campbeltown tradition intact.
